CASH's Story

Cash is a shy, sensitive soul who’s still figuring out that the world, and people, can be kind. He greets you sweetly through the kennel, carefully sniffing hello, even though he's nervous. He's unsure of the leash, but walks beautifully once it's on. He also seems to be potty trained. Cash can be timid and flinches easily, but he does allow gentle petting and seems to want reassurance. He isn’t very food motivated and doesn’t seem to know any tricks yet, but he does accept treats out of your hand after warming up to you. He's a super smart boy, but when left to his own devices he uses those smarts to try and sneak out. Who can blame him?! The shelter is hardly a place to call home. He has no problem with staying by your side on leash though. Cash would do best with a patient, understanding person who can move at his pace and help him build confidence and trust in people. With time and patience this sweet, timid boy has the potential to truly blossom.
