Casey's Story

Casey has been through a bit of a rough patch. He was purchased from a breeder as a puppy. His first owner rehomed him (reason unknown). Then, years later, his second owner suffered a tragic loss in her family and faced huge life changes. Unfortunately, she could no longer support Casey.

Casey is currently with our rescue, but his breeder, who no longer breeds dogs, has agreed to take him back to find him a home. We are always grateful to breeders who stand behind their dogs for the life of the dog.

If we can find Casey a home in the NE Oklahoma area in the next few days we will place him. Otherwise he will head to Texas on 5/21/25 to the care of his breeder. We all just want the best for this sweet boy.

Casey has never met a stranger. He has a waggy tail and a cute grin. We know he was around children and other dogs. He is very calm in the car and easy to handle. At just five years of age he has many great years ahead to enjoy life as a wonderful companion.

Casey is in good health...perhaps a tad too healthy! He could stand to lose a few pounds, but nothing extreme. He's been kept current on HW prevention, vet checks an vaccinations. Casey was primarily kept as an outside dog so may need a little house training reminder, but he is crate trained. He's handsome and ready to find his happily-ever-after!
