Carver's Story

Meet Carver – Loyal, Smart, and Ready for His Forever Home
Breed: German Shepherd mix
Age: Estimated 3–5 years
Gender: Male
Compatibility: Dog-friendly (slow intros recommended), no cats

Carver was found wandering in a rural part of Phoenix and was lucky enough to be taken in by a kind family who offered to foster him. Thanks to their help and support from Saving Paws, Carver is now safe and searching for a loving forever home.

Carver is a smart, loyal, and affectionate boy. He knows “sit,” enjoys playing fetch, and loves chewing on his toys. He’s also incredibly sweet and submissive—often rolling onto his back for belly rubs. While he gets excited when first let out of his kennel, he responds well to gentle correction and quickly settles down.

This handsome guy thrives around people and loves being part of the pack. He enjoys lying at your feet or sitting right next to you on the couch. He’s shown interest in other dogs (both big and small), but he prefers to warm up at his own pace and hasn’t initiated play just yet. Carver would do best in a cat-free home.

So far, he hasn’t shown any destructive behavior and seems content as long as he has toys and companionship. He’s a gentle, loyal soul who’s ready to be someone’s best friend.

If you’re looking for a loyal companion with a kind heart and a playful spirit, Carver may be the perfect match.

If you can give Carver an indoor forever home, please fill out our online application on our website at http://www.savingpawsrescueaz.org/adoption-form/

We will only schedule meet and greets with an approved application. We are an all-volunteer organization. It may take a couple of days to process an application and complete reference checks.

Thank you for your interest in saving the life of a dog.
