Carter's Story

Carter is a 1 year old, male, Chihuahua mix surrendered to the rescue due to his family moving and unable to take Carter with them. Poor Carter was quite frightened of this new environment and it took him some time to warm up to the volunteers. He really enjoys going on walks and once in awhile doing zoomies in the play yard.. This little guy needs a patient, quiet home with a soft gentle touch to give him direction, praise and love. Carter weighs 14 lbs and is now neutered and current on vaccines. Hours: Closed *Appointment required to meet the animals.* The adoption process includes filling out an adoption application and providing references. Any current pets in the household must be spayed or neutered (unless not recommended by a veterinarian for health reasons) and current on vaccinations. If adopting a cat/kitten you must agree to not have it declawed.
