Meet Carter! Carter is an 11-month-old schnauzer–poodle mix weighing about 10 lbs, and he’s a total snuggle bug. He’s fully potty trained and does well sleeping in his crate, especially if it’s in the same room as his people. He just likes knowing you’re nearby. Carter is more of an indoor guy right now. He’s not a big fan of the outdoors and would much rather be curled up on the couch or snuggled in bed. As he gains confidence, this may change, but for now he thrives in a calm, cozy home environment. He does okay when left alone in the house, usually is just sleeping when we return. He can be a little timid and unsure around strangers at first, but with patience and gentle introductions, he warms up and shows his sweet, affectionate side.
