He has been in foster for 2 years and his condition has improved from his arrival and he has been stable for some time. However he still needs a few supports to keep him safe. For example, Carter cannot be left alone on furniture or allowed to walk up/down stairs on his own, as he lacks the consistent ability to navigate these items independently in a safe manner. We also recommend that Carter is held in a safe area, such as a dog pen, when not supervised, so that he doesn't get himself into trouble. <br/><br/>Aside from those easy to understand details, what is Carter like? Carter is a silly boy who likes playing with toys and other dogs. He has funny ways of walking and he loves to hop around. <br/><br/>He's potty trained, pen trained, and cat/dog friendly.<br/><br/>He loves squeaky toys and treats, and would love a home with a gentle playmate to be his buddy.
