Caroline's Story

Meet Caroline!

Caroline is a sweet and gentle pup with a heart full of love. She adores attention and is happiest when she's being cuddled-especially with her favorite stuffed animals by her side. While she's friendly with everyone she meets, she can be a little shy at first, especially around new men. With a little patience and kindness, she quickly warms up and shows her affectionate, loyal side.

Caroline walks beautifully on a leash and enjoys her outdoor time. She's still working on potty training, but making great progress with consistency and encouragement.

Caroline has a condition called Exocrine Pancreatic Insufficiency (EPI), which means she needs special enzymes added to her food at every meal. Don't worry-it's a simple process and not very expensive, and it helps her feel her best.

If you're looking for a loving, soft-hearted companion who just wants to be loved, Caroline might be the perfect fit for you!

Smith County Humane's Adoption Policy
Potential adopters complete an adoption application and go through a vetting process. Our coordinator speaks with them, asks questions regarding the potential pets living situation, we do a home visit or video call to assess the home. We also verify with their current vet that the pets they currently have are up to date on vaccines and preventatives. If approved, if there are other pets in the home, we do a meet and greet. Then we will finalize the adoption if all is approved by our coordinator.
