Caroline #3's Story
Meet Caroline #3! Caroline is an adorable 13 week old little girl. Caroline is happy and outgoing and at the same time she is sweet and gentle. Caroline came to rescue with her 5 litter-mates and mother (a purebred yellow lab). Her mother was pregnant and had a broken leg. She sought rescue in a junkyard to give birth and raise her babies. She was an excellent mom. When Caroline was 4 weeks old the owner of the junkyard called one of Labs4Rescue volunteers to help. Mom was captured in a large cage that was rigged up by the employee's. She wanted to be caught as she brought all of her children up to the cage that day and allowed all of them to enter it before the door was closed. Momma (Courtney) has been an Amazing girl through it all. So sweet and gentle, great with every human and animal. She has passed this wisdom and personality, it appears, down to her offspring. Momma had to have her leg amputated, but she already has someone awaiting her arrival into their loving arms. It's Caroline and her sibling's turn to have that same love.
