Carmine's Story

I am in a foster home and not at the shelter. If you are interested in adopting, submit an adoption questionnaire by email. Learn more hereAt just 1 year old and 40 pounds, Carmine is a great mix of playful pup and gentle soul. He's shy at first, but once he feels safe, you’ll quickly discover the sweetest, most loving companion.

Carmine's foster family reports he's always ready for snuggles, playtime, or showing off new tricks. On walks, Carmine can be a little too excited, but with guidance and patience, he’s eager to keep learning and growing. He's crate-trained, potty trained, sleeps through the night, and is content hanging out solo for a few hours—calm, cool, and collected when it matters most.

Carmine has come a long way on his journey and is still building his confidence. Treats (his love language!) and gentle encouragement go a long way. He’ll thrive in a patient, loving home with positive reinforcement and a resident canine sibling to help show him the ropes.

Carmine is ready to find his person, someone who sees his potential and can give him the safe, supportive home he deserves.
