Carmen

Carmen is the sweetest girl in town! This playful young lady is full of energy, and would thrive in an environment with structure, high activity, and plenty of people to spend her time with. Carmen was found living on the streets of Puerto Rico, and was friendly from the start! This darling girl LOVES attention, has zoomies for days, and could truly play all day. She would do best in a home with an experienced dog owner, preferably someone with the time and knowledge to train her. She learns very fast, and has come a long way since joining us in December. She is not a good fit for apartment living, and would do best with a fenced in yard due to her high energy. Herding breed experience is definitely a plus. She would do best in a home with no cats, and she loves other dogs. Other dogs in the home should be tolerant, as she can tend to play a bit rough sometimes. Carmen would also do well with children 10+ years old. She is currently in Puerto Rico and can be transported up stateside.
