Carmello Chihuahua Mix Springfield, MO

Hey there! Are you looking for a little lap warmer? If so, I just might be the perfect fit! My name is Caramello. I am a 10-ish pound, 2-ish year-old Chihuahua mix gal. I was found as a stray, and my finder couldn't keep, so here I am hanging out in a foster home waiting for you. I am a sweet cuddle bug once I warm up to you, but I'm pretty shy at first (It's a Chihuahua thing). While I was with my finder for a few weeks, I lived outside during the day and in a kennel during the night, so I haven't been house trained yet. My foster mom is working on that with me though. I do really well on a leash and love to go on walks! I get along with other dogs about my size, but I'm kinda bossy, so any fur sibling needs to let me be the boss. I have been enjoying playing with my foster mom's other foster dog, so it would be nice to have a playmate in my forever home. I would be okay as an only dog too though. I am not a fan of cats, so I will need a cat-free home. As far as kids go, I'm not much of a fan of high energy littles. An older, dog-savvy, respectful kiddo would be fine though. I like playing and hanging out in the fenced yard at my foster home, but I could do okay in an apartment as long as I get plenty of daily exercise and play time. My adoption fee is $150 and includes my spay/neuter, vaccinations, wellness exam, heartworm test, and microchip!
