In classic heeler fashion, he may try to herd his friends, but he's learning quickly and his puppy manners are coming along beautifully. He's outgrown his mouthy puppy phase and is turning into a polite, eager-to-please companion.<br/><br/>Carlsbad already has some impressive "big dog" skills, too - he has free roam of his foster home and reliably uses the doggie door. He is fully housetrained as well! He absolutely loves having the freedom to pop outside for a sniff, adventure, or zoomie session, so a fenced yard would make him very happy.<br/><br/>When he's not exploring, Carlsbad is a total cuddler who enjoys curling up with his humans and soaking up affection.
