Meet Carley
If you want an energetic, active youngster, Carley might just be the dog for you.
She did not have a good puppyhood, so she was fearful of new places, new sounds, new people when she came to the TLC, and although she is still somewhat shy, she shows continual progress. . She is an intelligent, somewhat independent gal who learned to be tough because she was left tied outside most of the time. She often did not have enough food, so can be very possessive of her food, but shows no other aggression towards either dogs or humans. Her boundless enthusiasm sometimes tested the patience of our older dogs during play time, but as she gains confidence, she has calmed down, has learned to be respectful,, and enjoys playing with them. She needs a secure fenced area where she can run off her excess energy, and, basically still a puppy--about a year old, she needs someone with the time and energy to help her reach her awesome potential. Carley would make an awesome family dog!
