Meet Carley

Beautiful Carley is petite 58 pound social butterfly.  She has gone to work with her foster mom and was fantastic.  She is well mannered and loves car rides and any attention that she receives.

Carley loves to play with other dogs and is not shy around people. Her forever home would be one that can keep her socialized with lots of exercise and structure.

Born around April of 2011, she enjoys walks, snuggles and playtime and would do great in a home with another  dog that she could play with.  Carley is one huge love bug. Everyone she meets she seems to have a kiss for. Her fur is the softest fur ever and although she is young and playful she will also just relax and chew a bone or snuggle. She just loves her people friends.  She loves everyone and has fun with the other dogs too!

She loves toys and her favorite ones are the ones that squeak. She sleeps quietly in her crate at night and has not had any accidents She lives with two other dogs and has been "kid tested"....she loves everyone. She does fairly well on a leash and quickly learned to sit if she wants attention. She would make someone a great family dog.

Before sending an inquiry, please read our "How To Adopt Page" of our website. http:www.almosthomerescue.net/adopt."

This dog is available unless it is marked as Pending, meaning "pending adoption".

If this Dog is marked Urgent, it is because the Arkansas shelter where he/she resides is overfull. **Please do not ask local shelters to take this dog in, there are many reasons why they cannot.** Please also do not send us letters about why we euthanize, AHR does not euthanize, but the shelters we work with do. We are a rescue and we pull as many dogs as we have foster homes and funds for. We, like the shelter, do not have unlimited resources. Please, please: foster, adopt or sponsor a dog to help save their lives.

. We pay a Transportation Service from Arkansas to bring the dogs to New England. The adoption fee is $350 for dogs through 6 months of age, $300 for dogs 7 months-5 years, and $275 for dogs 6 years and older; (for bonded pairs: $250.00/per dog). This includes vaccinations, spay/neuter, microchip, heartworm/lyme/erlichea test, worming and for imported dogs: transport on a USDA approved transport with a Health Certificate. All imported dogs are quarantined 14 days prior to leaving Arkansas. Almost Home Rescue will process your adoption. Applications can be found at www.almosthomerescue.net/adopt and can be e-mailed to adoptions_ahr@yahoo.com Click HEREto visit our site.
