Carl's Story

Introducing Carl… or rather—Caaaarl.

You know the voice. You have to say it right.

Carl is about as close as you can get to a human disguised as a dog. He’s affectionate, snuggly, ridiculously soft, and fully convinced that personal space is more of a suggestion than a rule. He may start off a little hand-shy, but give him the chance to set the pace and he’ll quickly decide you are, in fact, his person—and your bubble? Gone. Completely gone.

Alone time? Not anymore. Not with Carl.

This sweet boy thrives with other dogs and will need a home where he has a canine buddy. Partly for play, but mostly because he looks to other dogs for confidence and reassurance. Having a furry role model helps him learn that people are pretty great, actually.
Carl is still very much in his “curious toddler” era, which means he has a particular talent for… acquiring things. Toys that aren’t his? Claimed. Bookmarks? Fair game. That random paper you swore you’d deal with later? Now his. If Carl had thumbs, you’d absolutely need to check your wallet. Thankfully, the only thing he’s truly determined to steal is your heart and he’s very, very good at it.
Carl is an 11-month-old cocker spaniel/poodle mix. He’s neutered, up to date on vaccines, and microchipped, basically ready to waltz right into your life and take it over in the best possible way.
