Caribou's Story

Hi, my name is Caribou! I am a 1 year old female that is about 60 pounds! I am a very sweet girl who loves attention. I love being pet and sitting next to you. Sometimes I think I'm a lap dog. I could use a tune up on my leash manners, but I do well when there's no other stimuli in the environment. I would do best with a dog who understands boundaries, I can be vocal and am still figuring out how to play with other dogs! I am super treat motivated! I know how to sit and am still learning the others! If you're looking for a goofy, lovable, snuggle buddy, I'm your girl! My foster has been training me to use a treadmill and I LOVE it, it really helps me get my pent up energy out. Once that extra energy is used up, I truly do better out in the real world. My foster says I'm doing great with my potty training, but I still need a little more work. I've started to get to know my name better and I've been responsive to being recalled.

I started showing signs of having small seizures in my foster home, but I've been doing well with daily medications and I haven't had an issue since. The best home for me is someone who can keep up with training, exercise and my medical needs.

I'm fixed, vaccinated, microchipped and up to date on parasite preventatives. ADOPTION FEE SPONSORED BY DONATION!

If you are interested, please call the shelter at (541) 474-5458. You can view more adoptable pets at www.jocoshelter.com/adoptions . Walk-ins are welcome, however we highly recommend calling first to check on availability and location (some animals may be offsite or unavailable). Appointments are recommended to reduce wait times, especially for dogs. Thank you!
