Cardi's Story
Cardi is a 5 month old, 12 lb female Chihuahua mix.

Cardi is currently located in South Texas and will be transported to her new home after adoption.

Cardamom, or Cardi, is small, sassy and cuddly as heck! She really enjoys being around people, getting loved on and giving puppy kisses. She can be a little shadow, but that is often typical for puppies. She does love her foster momma! She shares her foster home with a couple of dogs and she is fearless - pouncing, leaping and wrestling with the big dogs, Cardi is all about playtime! This feisty little girl is energetic and needs some healthy outlets like a doggy friend or chew toys; a fenced yard would be a bonus so she can release that energy. She doesn't like potty pads but is doing well with going potty outdoors. Cardi was found as a stray pup, roaming a local park, when she was taken in. Perhaps due to having to scavenge for food, she started out guarding her food dish at meal times, but now that she is feeling safe and secure, that has diminished and she simply gives a side-eye look if the resident pups approach her as she eats. She's a brave girl but she's a lover, not a fighter. This sweetie will remain a lap dog, and would love nothing more than to cuddle up with you and help you stay warm.

Our organization only adopts within the United States and Canada.

Faith and Hope is an established rescue group based in Texas but delivers to multiple states on the East and West Coast. All dogs and cats are rescued from the state of Texas to be transported to Washington, Oregon, Colorado, Utah, Connecticut, Virginia, Maryland, and others, with placement in their adoptive family’s homes. Our $600 adoption donation includes all core vaccinations (DHPP, rabies) spay/neuter, microchip and transportation fees. (Reduced donation through the end of the year).

If interested in learning more, please email us at faithandhopeadoptions@gmail.com or fill out our online application.

https://www.faithandhopefoundation.org/adoptionapp

If interested in learning more about our adoptable pets, the adoption process, or our home based foster program, please contact us at the above email.

Due to the number of requests that we receive on our adoptable pets, please be advised that all adoption applications are processed in the order received.
