Caramel Chihuahua Cincinnati, OH

Caramel is a spunky little Chihuahua mix looking for a home to spend his golden years. Caramel is between 6 and 10 years old, and weighs 8 pounds. He was an owner surrender to a shelter in Kentucky before being rescued by HART. The age range is due to the fact that Caramel came to us with few teeth, and that is used primarily to age dogs. While a lack of teeth can indicate a dog is older, it is also a sign of neglect, hence the range.

In typical chihuahua style, Caramel is a big personality in a tiny package. He is shy at first with new people and is a little particular about his people, but if he chooses you as his person you will get endless cuddles on the couch!

He would do best in a home without small children because he does not like to be grabbed without warning. He is great with older kids. Caramel gets along with other dogs and ignores cats.
