Captain is an 11-mo old 80 lb pittie mix. <br/><br/>Captain is a medium-energy boy who genuinely loves exploring the world around him. Because he missed out on some early socialization, many everyday sights and sounds still feel brand new to him. He approaches life with big enthusiasm, and sometimes that excitement can get the best of him.<br/><br/>The beautiful part? He’s learning. Captain has been making steady progress, practicing how to slow down, observe, and move through the world with more confidence and curiosity. With guidance, he’s showing that he’s incredibly capable.<br/><br/>He’s a strong, athletic guy, so an experienced handler would be a wonderful match for him. He’s already working on walking more politely on leash, going in and out of his crate with ease, and learning to slow his approach around other dogs since he can be a bit forward when he’s eager to say hello.
