Cappy's Story
I lost my beloved person when he died and after that I was living in a bad situation where I was abused for nearly a year. Then when I was surrendered, I was really withdrawn and scared. I wasn’t used to being around other dogs so this has been a new experience for me. But now I am happy Cappy and my foster says I am an adorable senior gentleman, about 10 years old. I like to stay on top of what is happening in the home and especially with the others in my pack that are smaller and younger than me. While I’m not really a lap dog, I do like to be close to my person whether chilling out or doing some activity. I walk well on a leash, love car rides, and have learned to use the doggy door. I wait my turn for treats and take them gently. I confess that I’m a tad overweight, but we have been working on that. I’ve lost about 7 # since coming into care and I’m getting a little waist now. I am definitely ready to find my fur-ever family. Could it be you?
