Capone's Story

Meet Capone! Capone is a male Pit Bull Terrier who was brought to us by a rescue that was closing their doors. He was pulled from Rutherford County PAWS in 2020. Capone found a home but had to be returned due to the family moving out of the country. He also needed a double ACL surgery on both of his back knees, which was completed, and he is fully recovered. We are not going to sugar-coat the fact that Capone will need to be placed in a very special home suited just for him. He is the sweetest soul, and loves humans, but he needs a human to understand his needs. Capone needs to be an only dog, and he will not do well with cats. We feel he will be better suited in a home with older children or no children. We will go over his specific history with you if you are interested in adopting or fostering to adopt. Half of his battle is getting him out of kennels and into a home, as he has spent the better part of a year in either a boarding facility or kenneled off and on in foster homes. He has been through a lot, and we'll stop at nothing to get him into the best-suited home. His eyes will break your heart, and his eyes tell a sad story of homes lost, and humans that have let him down. But there is hope still there, and we want him to just be able to live a relaxed life with no worry of change or turmoil, and to be loved.
