Caper's Story
Caper is a fun, sweet and active, three-month-old, five-pound, male mini Goldendoodle looking for a loving guardian.

Caper was purchased from a breeder a week ago. His purchaser realized that he made a mistake. He had never had a dog before and the training, attention, and care a puppy required was more than he could handle.

He is good on leash, barks as puppies do for attention, and incredibly snuggly.

He is good with other small dogs; he hasn’t met a big dog yet. So, he needs someone who is home more often than not to train and housebreak a puppy.

Caper is very healthy, de-wormed, up to date on vaccinations for a puppy his age, fecal-tested, and will be micro-chipped, and neutered prior to adoption. He has also received his first heartworm preventative.

His adoption fee of $1,000 will help our rescue handle the vetting of other less fortunate dogs in our rescue. While, we realize this is a high adoption fee, but we rarely get puppies who are in as high demand as Caper.

If you are interested in meeting and possibly adopting Caper, please fill out an adoption application at https://friendsofpetraits.com/dog-adoption-application/ and follow up to meet him by e-mailing friendsofpetraits@gmail.com

He is being fostered in Chicago’s Andersonville neighborhood.
