Cap n Crunch's Story
From Cap's Foster: Cap'n Crunch is a special guy. In the few days we've fostered him, he has gone from a completely shut-down shelter dog to a curious and cuddly puppy. He plays well with our older dog and loves to run and romp. Inside, he is calmer and more curious as he explores his new surroundings. Every day he gets braver. Where he was fearful of any human contact before, now he seeks us out for attention and pets. He loves the safe space in his crate and will often go in on his own. So far, he has had no accidents in the house or his crate, though we don't know if he is house trained. He seems smart, and we have been working on some basic commands. He is getting better on the leash. The perfect match for Cap'n will be a calm family; he's still wary of loud noises. His new humans would need time to spend with him to help him come out of his shell more, work on house training, and teach basic commands. He is already such a good pup, and the right home will make him a great family friend.
