Hey, Cannon here. In case you haven't heard...I was found wandering alone until my foster mom took me in. Who knew how great life could be in a home with good food, a soft bed of my own, and all the love a good boy could ask for!<br/><br/>They say I'm extremely smart, a quick learner with good memory and eager to please. I am house and crate trained with good house manners. I ride well in the car and have perfected my walking-on-a-leash skills. I love playing with my toys, chowing down on chew sticks and getting treats, treats and more treats!. <br/><br/>But no matter how big I get, I still want to be a lap dog getting lots of attention and plenty of loving. I'm a gentle soul, love my people and kids and enjoy outside play with my foster dog friends. I even get along with the foster family cat:)<br/><br/>I'm about a year old, weigh 57 lbs and am current on vaccinations and rabies, am microchipped and neutered. I also had a heart worm test but tested positive. Because of my age, they say it is a light case so treatment means I will take an antibiotic for 30 days and get a 6 month Pro-Heart shot. In 6-9 months I will be retested to ensure I test negative. From then on, I'll need to take monthly preventatives so I never have to worry about heartworms again!<br/><br/>I'm a really great dog and can't wait to meet my furever people. My paws are crossed my new home has a safe backyard and another active dog my size just waiting for me to get there.
