10/8 UPDATE: We're worried that Cannoli's fear of the vet might have scared off potential adopters. He hasn't had a single person interested. Look, dogs get scared at the vet. It happens. But medications and good trained vet staff can help get him through those scary times. And it's not like he'll be there often. Cannoli is a very healthy boy and shouldn't need vet care for an entire year. Everything else about him is wonderful! He's great on walks, he's good with all people and dogs, he's loveable and cute! Cannoli came to us as a stray. We're guessing he's a lab mix of some kind and somewhere between 3 and 4 years old. Cannoli is energetic and has a big voice so apartment dog he is not. He is the master of fetch & tug-o-war and gives the biggest hugs. He likes other dogs, but we're not sure about cats. Full disclosure: Cannoli DOES NOT like the vet so sedation and muzzling will be necessary. On the plus side, he is up to date on all his vaccines and should not need vet care for at least a year. This will give the new owner time to make vet visits a more positive experience. If you're looking for a loyal companion with a little challenge, Cannoli might be your guy!
