Canella (GG)

GG (for “Good Girl” !! ) is an approximate 1 yr. 9 mo. old mixed breed dog (see dna test results in pics) approximately 40 lbs. Describing her as “Sweet and Enthusiastic” is a pretty good starting point!<br/><br/>GG loves attention, and loves to cuddle on the couch. She sleeps through the night in her crate, but I'm sure she would love to sleep with her human.<br/><br/>You'll fall in love with a pup who just wants to play, give hugs, take walks and play zoomies with you every day! And did we mention, “Give HUGS”?? Yes, she's all about that!<br/><br/>GG has a softness about her that will tug at your heartstrings! After dinner, she'll rest her head in your lap to be gently petted and whispered to. She loves attention, especially her all important behind the ear scratches and butt rubs! ? <br/><br/>Young GG doesn't miss a trick either, ears and eyes always on alert, and she absolutely loves, Loves, LOVES her humans!<br/><br/>She is now heartworm free and able to run and play like a young dog!<br/><br/>GG would most likely do well with another dog after appropriate introductions and a shutdown period. She gets along wonderfully with our 13 year old, 8 lb. Min pin (in the home) and also does well on walks with her and our 14 years old male dog.<br/><br/>Due to her energy level we feel she would probably enjoy a younger dog. Older kids would probably be best because although she is small, she is very strong. She most likely, as all dogs would, benefit from additional training. Currently she knows sit, paw, touch, stay, come and down. When there are NO distractions she walks very well on a leash. She'll need work on her “prey” drive and also seeing other dogs in public.<br/><br/>With each successive day as fosters, we've realized that GG truly “gets it”, and she's going to be the best, funnest, and most loving dog ever in her “fur-ever home”!!<br/>Best wiggle-butt ever, BTW !!
