Meet Canela! Thank goodness this poor little girl was rescued and taken to the vet right away because she actually had pyometra and it could have been a death sentence if she hadn’t been surrendered from the home she was in. She had surgery and is now spayed, heartworm negative, rabies vaccinated and DA 2PP vaccinated. Canela is a very sweet, very calm little girl. She appears to be some type of long-haired Chihuahua mix. She is approximately four years old and currently weighs about 11 pounds, however, she really needs to lose about 2 pounds as she is quite overweigh. Canela gets along really well with other dogs and cats. Our adoption fee varies and includes spay/neuter, rabies, distemper, heart worm test, deworm medication and microchip. All potential adopters must submit an application. We will check your veterinarian reference, a few personal references and will do a home visit prior to adoption.
