Candy Cane's Story
Meet Candy Cane — a gorgeous nine-week-old Poodle–Chihuahua mix with a soft blonde–apricot coat and the sweetest, most gentle expression. She came to us with her dessert-themed siblings after an accidental litter in the Central Valley, and now she’s ready to find a forever home that understands what raising a young puppy truly entails.

Candy Cane currently weighs about 4 lbs and has already been spayed, microchipped, and started on all age-appropriate vetting. She is still very much a baby with zero training, so she will need a family committed to housebreaking, crate work, socialization, puppy manners, and continued positive experiences. Puppy class is highly encouraged.

Candy Cane is very low shed, soft-natured, playful, curious, and loves to curl up with her people once she’s done exploring. She learns by watching other dogs, so we are specifically seeking a home with:

A backyard

Homeowners (no restrictive rental arrangements)

Another friendly, well-adjusted dog for companionship and modeling

She arrived with her sweet tripod mama (a 14-lb red Chihuahua), and with dad estimated around 30 lbs, we expect Candy Cane to land around 20 lbs full-grown.

She is undeniably adorable, but she is also a developing puppy who needs routine, investment, training, patience, and a family who will nurture not just her cuteness but her growth into a confident, social adult dog. With the right home, Candy Cane will become a deeply loyal, affectionate companion with equal parts sparkle and sweetness.

Let’s find this blonde-apricot beauty the loving forever home she deserves.

First Step Is To Apply Now
[Apply Now](http://form.jotform.com/underdogca/dog-adoption-application)
For application updates, forwarding requests, or any questions, contact us at adopt@underdogca.com.
