Candy's Story
Candy is one of a pair of the sweetest, most loving dogs to arrive in rescue. She and her brother, Pongo, will need to find a forever home together. Candy's DNA test came back as 50% Scottie, 13.9% Labrador Retriever, 12.2% Australian Shepherd, 12% Boxer and minimal Bluetick Coonhound and Pembroke Welsh Corgi. Her legs are longer than your typical Scottie but the better to wrap around your neck to give a hug. She gives kisses, loves kids, adults, enjoys playing with other dogs and according to her foster mom, is almost perfect. Candy is housebroken, heartworm negative and recently spayed.
