Meet the adorable little Candice! She is a very spiffy ten-year-old lady who LOVES to lie in your lap and relax. Candice was turned in to the shelter as a stray; she had a large mammary tumor and some other minor bumps that are normal for aging. Otherwise she was in great shape; her coat looks fantastic; she is super friendly with everyone she meets so the shelter staff thought she had an owner that would come looking for her. But nobody came to claim her, and with the large mass almost all the way to the ground and being 10 years old, nobody was interested in adopting her either. We took her as she is such a sweet girl and we are so happy we did because she is nothing but amazing and truly deserves a great life! The tumor was removed along with a couple of small bumps, she had a teeth cleaning, ear cleaning and was spayed. Now she is a brand new gal, ready to run and have some fun. Candace does great with other dogs, loves her walks, gets attached to people very quickly, and is very outgoing. She weighs 10 pounds is so very easy to bring along everywhere.
