Candice's Story

Candice is a very special who was held in a kennel for 3 months with no walks or enrichment. At just a year old she was supposed to be running and playing and being happy. Since we saved her she is overjoyed to be out of that kennel and exploring the real world! Candice is 50 pounds, cuddly, snuggly but also loves a good hike and running around at the park. Candice loves to go on walks, go to the park, run around and have a good time with her people. She has a true zest for life and has never had a true home to call her own. Located in Lawndale, California

Let's Rescue Dogs's Adoption Policy

The first step in the process is to apply for the dog you are interested in on our website, www.letsrescuedogs.net If approved, you will be contacted via email. You will be required to submit a virtual home check by recording a clear video of where your new pet will eat, sleep, play and your backyard if applicable. If your home check approved, our adoption coordinator will schedule a phone interview to go over any questions and/or concerns you may have and to schedule a day and time for a meet and greet. If the meet and greet goes well you may take the dog home for a 7 day adoption trial. If you feel the dog is still a great fit after the trial, the adoption is finalized by signing the adoption contract and paying the adoption fee which includes the dogs spay/neuter, microchip, and core vaccines.
