Reservation dogs lead a very hard life, with no shelter, little food, and no vet care. Many of them die young on the Reservation, due to accidents, deprivation, and/or sickness among other causes. We are so glad that we were able to help Camila leave that life behind, so she can grow and enjoy the rest of his life safe and loved, with a family of her own. Camila is a sweet little pup. She is a little timid, gentle, submissive with other dogs, affectionate, and very mellow for a puppy. She loves to pick up all her toys and put them in her bed. She is very smart and eager to please. She understands when foster mom tells her to go lay down in her bed. She already knows 'sit' and 'shake', and she is doing well on her potty-training. She loves to be held and falls asleep on foster mom's lap or at her feet. She is a completely delightful girl, and such a smart, sweet puppy! Like all German Shepherd and German Shepherd mix puppies, Camila will need training, consistency, boundaries, and lots of activity and socialization, in order to become a well-balanced, well-behaved dog.Reminder: Even if you exercise and play with your dog daily in your fenced yard, please remember that, you MUST still take your dog out on daily walks and outings, in order to work on his/her leash skills, manners, and social skills.
