Cameron's Story

YOUR FUTURE BEST GIRL!

Meet Cameron the happy, goofy sweetheart whos been waiting over a year for someone to finally choose her. While she waits, shes hard at work in a 4-week board-and-train program learning how to be the very best girl for her future family!

Cameron is an estimated 5-year-old spayed female with a huge heart and an even bigger personality. Shes housebroken, crate trained, eager to please, and loves learning. She already knows commands including sit, down, heel, stay, wait, eat, no, and crate (pen), and is continuing to build confidence, manners, and skills through professional training.

This sweet girl loves people, car rides, walks, cuddle time, and play sessions. Cameron enjoys chewing on toys (Benebones, plush toys, frozen Kongs), relaxing with TVespecially Animal Planetand even snacking on garden veggies like cucumbers!

Cameron has medium energy and would love a home where she can enjoy daily walks, adventures, and ideally a fenced yard to stretch her legs. Shes polite at mealtime, great for baths and nail trims, and isnt much of a barker.

Cameron is still learning appropriate manners around other dogs, so she would likely do best as the only dog in the home while continuing to build on her training and confidence.

Cameron came to BCAS as a stray in January 2025 and was placed on the urgent rescue list due to kennel stress and skin issues. Since then, she has made an incredible transformation and blossomed into the joyful, loving dog she is today.

After more than a year waiting for someone to choose her, Cameron is preparing for her next chapter and were hopeful that when her training program is complete, she can head straight into the forever home she deserves.

Could Cameron be the missing piece to your family?
Apply to adopt today: https://form.jotform.com/lmg516/behart-adoption-application
