This is Cameo, one of 4 fuzzy terrier puppies surrendered to animal control because their owner was not properly able to take care of "an accidental litter". All of them are sweethearts and are at the perfect age to be adopted to homes with other pets and children. They are smart and learning commands easily. They are up to date with shots and healthy. If you would like to adopt, please complete an application at www.myhstc.org. We do give discounts if more than one puppy are adopted together. Adoption fee includes veterinary care current at the time of adoption. We prescreen all applicants prior to a meeting. To be screened, please complete an applicatin at www.myhstc.org We allow out of state adoptions. However, we do not ship nor transport sight unseen pets for many reasons. We require travel in person adoption.

Humane Society of Terrell County's Adoption Policy

All HSTC pets are spayed or neutered, vaccinated, heartworm tested, dewormed and on monthly prevention medications for heartworms and fleas; it is our goal to make sure all pets are healthy while under our care. The adoption fee for dogs is $85 and cats $75 (we will discount if more than one pet is adopted at the same time or the adoptee is taking on some type of medical care). We do allow out-of-state adoptions, however, transportation is the responsibility of the adopter. We require a completed adoption application with a vet reference provided. We will call your vet to verify your information. Adoption applications are approved on a case-by-case basis, taking into consideration matching the needs of the pet to an owner. Some long distance adoptions may also require a home visit from a local animal rescuer in the adopter’s area. HSTC does not have a shelter!!
