Cam's Story

MEET CAM!
AKA CamCam, Cameron, Cam-a-Ram, CamaLamb, CamBam... and probably 14 more names by the time he gets adopted. 😂
Cam is 11⁄2 years old and still has puppy energy ALL THE WAY! This sweet, goofy boy believes life is meant for playing, cuddling, chewing crunchy bones, carrying around stuffed toys, and occasionally running approximately 90 miles an hour for absolutely no reason. 💨
And yes, he answers to Cam. CamCam. Cameron. Cam-a-Ram. CamaLamb. CamBam. At this point, we're pretty sure he'll answer to anything if you say it with enough enthusiasm. 🤣
The Cam Facts:
11⁄2-year-old neutered male
Best guess is a mix of boxer, pitty, and a fun terrier for good measure.
30lbs - he wont get any bigger
Up to date on vaccinations
Microchipped
Loves playing with dogs
Does well with cats
Loves people and wants to be the center of attention
Tons of happy puppy energy
Loves running at 90 MPH 💨
Loves stuffed toys
Loves chewing on crunchy bones
Super sweet, soft and cuddly (he has the softest underbelly too)
Loves being right next to his people
Thinks sleeping in your bed is an excellent arrangement
Learned the dog door very quickly
Working on potty training and does well when reminded to go outside
Cam would love a family that wants a dog who is truly part of everything. A playful dog buddy could be a great match because Cam's approach to other dogs is basically:
"HI. I'M CAM. WE PLAY NOW."
One important thing to know about Cam is that he can be possessive of things he considers his, especially his bones. Because of that, we recommend caution with small children and a home where his family can respect his space around high-value items and continue working with him on appropriate sharing and trading.
When he's not protecting his prized crunchy-bone collection, he can go from Cam-a-Ram, racing around at full speed, to CamaLamb, curled up beside you soaking up every ounce of attention.
He's young, smart, affectionate and eager to learn. He just needs a family willing to continue his training, give that puppy energy somewhere fun to go, and appreciate having a four-legged shadow who firmly believes Cam should be involved in everything.
If you're looking for a goofy, affectionate, playful boy who comes with six names, a stuffed-toy collection, turbo mode, and one enormous personality, CamBam may be your guy. Please complete our adoption application here:
https://form.jotform.com/232695301179055
