Calypso's Story
Meet Calypso

Calypso is the definition of a soft soul. She’s incredibly gentle, very submissive, and just wants to love and be loved. The kind of dog who quietly bonds to her people and tries her best every single day.

She hasn’t had the easiest start, so she can be sensitive and needs a patient human who understands that trust takes time. But once she feels safe, her sweet personality really shines. She adores companionship and would truly thrive in a home with another friendly dog to guide her and help build her confidence.
She has also made huge progress with cats. Instead of bothering them, she now calmly passes by and even gives gentle face licks. She’s a kind girl at heart.

On leash she can get overwhelmed if another dog is too close, but improves with space and continued positive training. She wants to do well and responds beautifully to gentle guidance.

She would do best with:
• A calm, patient home
• Another friendly dog
• Someone willing to continue positive reinforcement training
• A family who sees her sensitivity as something special, not something to “fix”
Calypso isn’t flashy or pushy. She’s the quiet one waiting to be chosen.
And once she is, she will be unbelievably devoted.
She just needs someone to finally see her.

⸻
What’s included in the adoption fee:
✅ Core vaccines
✅ Rabies vaccine (age dependent)
✅ 4DX test for heartworm & tick-borne diseases (age dependent)
✅ Flea, tick & heartworm prevention
✅ Parasite treatment
✅ Dental surgery if recommended by veterinary partners (for adult/senior dogs)
✅ A session with a positive-reinforcement trainer (optional)
✅ Ongoing support from our team
✅ Microchip
✅ One month of Trupanion coverage

Adoption Fee:
• $850 — Adults (1–7 years), spayed/neutered
Apply to adopt: https://form.jotform.com/243494963032258
