Updated 3/18/2026! Hi! My name is Calypso & I'm a 4 to 5 year old female beagle mix. I'm such a sweet little girl! I'm easygoing & so loving! I'm also very active! And playful! I like to play fetch & tug-of-war! I love stuffed toys! I love to play with other dogs & so I really need a home where I have a young, active dog who can keep up with me when we play! I can be a little bossy with other dogs, though. So my doggie playmate should probably be on the submissive side. I've also lived with young children & cats, & I do great with them. I'm a sensitive soul. I can be timid when I first meet you. I'm basically housetrained. I've been left alone for a few hours at a time & I've done great. I'm used to going outside about 4 times a day. I will go to the door, but my person needs to notice that I'm at the door. If you aren't watching, I might have an accident in the house. While I'm crate trained, I don't like the crate. I become quite frantic to get out of the crate. I'm perfect for someone who is home most of the time! I like to hang out on the furniture with my people. At night, I like to sleep in bed with my person, or on the floor in a dog bed. I ride well in the car! The best way to get me to do something is to offer a treat. I'm a beagle, so if you leave food on the end table, I'll probably eat it! LOL It's ok to use a firm voice every now & then - but I am sensitive so your voice shouldn't be loud. I would love to have a fenced in yard since I'm so active! I'm already spayed & up-to-date on vaccines! Now I just need my forever home! Are you it?? Please think about making me part of you family! Kennel License #4068
