I never grew out of the loving puppy mode,<br/><br/>I came into Roses Rescue because my original family, although they loved me, couldn't care for me anymore.<br/><br/>I am allergic to poultry and corn - they give me ear infections. So I have been put on a food where salmon is the main protein. It is delicious!!! I have been getting a squirt of salmon oil on my food, too. It is going to help my coat get soft and shiny. I may still have chronic ear issues, because they were not taken care of for so long. I need daily medication in my ears which runs about $75 a month. I am very agreeable to massaging and touching my ears. It feels so good. They are doing blood work on me because I have suddenly begun to lose weight. My foster mommy is praying it isn’t cancer and that I am not in a hospice situation. More blood work will me done soon.<br/><br/>My two favorite things in the world are being around people and playing fetch. I will bring my toy to you and drop it at your feet for you to throw again and again and again. I an not at all fond of cats, but I get along great with other dogs. Right now my best pal is a little Frenchie. We run around the back yard together. I love playing with kids, too, but, because of my size they need to be older kids. I don't want to accidentally knock anyone over.<br/><br/>I need a fenced in yard because that is what I am used to. I do not have a lot of experience on a leash or getting in and out of a car. I am crate trained and potty trained. However, I don't need to be crated because I can be trusted alone. Do you have room in your heart and home for this big ol' lover boy? I have lots of room in my heart for YOU. I am truly a gentle giant.
