Given space to adjust, she has already begun to feel more comfortable around familiar people and is showing her affectionate side by seeking attention and happily jumping up to say hello. We recommend that all family members meet Calmada prior to adoption to help set everyone up for success. <br/><br/><br/>When meeting another dog in the shelter, Calmada was initially a bit nervous, but after a greeting in the yard she quickly became playful, enjoying chase games and friendly bumping. She may be able to live with another dog with a gradual, thoughtful introduction. Going slow, respecting her space, and offering high-value treats will help build her confidence.
