Callie's Story

Callie is a 4-year-old mama who came to Arctic Rescue in January after being found as a stray with her litter of puppies. She’s been focused on what she does best—being a devoted mom—and is now happily finishing the job of raising her babies until they’re ready for homes of their own. Once her puppies are on their way, it’ll be Callie’s turn to be spoiled and find the forever home she truly deserves. All Arctic Rescue dogs are marked “yes” to “Needs Experienced Adopter.” This is because Northern Breeds typically have higher exercise, training, and care requirements than others. We recommend thoroughly researching the breed before pursuing adoption, if you do not have prior experience.

HOW OUR ADOPTIONS WORK: 1) We require all adopters to fill out an online application at: https://www.arcticrescue.com/adopt 2) We are a Utah-based rescue. All potential adopters must come to Utah and meet the dogs. We do not transport dogs. 3) We want to make sure that your home is the perfect fit for one of our dogs and vice versa. We want all members of the family to be happy and well matched with each-other, so require families to do a phone interview, reference checks, meet dogs and pass a home-inspection before adoption.
