Meet Callie! At two years young and 68 pounds, Callie is a sweet, affectionate girl with a heart of gold. All she wants is to spend quality time with her people, soaking up love and affection. She's already shown her gentle nature around other polite dogs at the shelter, proving she's a social butterfly.

Callie had "happy tail" at the shelter and received medical care from our team before heading to her foster home where she could heal and decompress. In foster, she sleeps in her crate, loves to cuddle on the couch, and has a pretty good "sit", too.

Callie's favorite pastime? Snuggling up close, resting her head on your lap, and asking for pets with those soulful eyes of hers. Plus, she's a food enthusiast and would be thrilled to continue her positive reinforcement training journey with you. Callie can be shy or overwhelmed in new situations, so her ideal home is patient and can let her set the pace of daily life for awhile.
