Meet Callie
Foster location: Laingsburg Michigan
Meet Callie! Callie is a beautiful 2 year old Australian Shepherd mix that loves everyone and everything! She is a very social girl who loves playing with her foster siblings and running with them in the yard, going for walks and meeting new people, and then cuddling up on the couch at night with her foster mom. Callie is quite fluffy and has soft fur so we think she might have some Golden Retriever and probably a few other breeds mixed in.
Callie came to us after being dumped at a a shelter with no puppies but full of milk. She had severe mastitis and the shelter was worried she wouldn’t make it so one of the employees stayed with her overnight. She has since recovered and is ready to find her loving forever home.
Callie is house and crate trained, and she walks great on a leash. She would enjoy an active home with another young dog to play with but she would also be happy being your one and only and soaking up all the love and attention! We are unsure if she has lived with kids before but would likely do well, she can be jumpy so probably kids 7 and older would be best. Callie would do great with a family that is willing to work with her on basic obedience and take her to training so she can be the best dog she can be!
Callie’s adoption fee is $300, she is spayed, current on vaccines, microchipped, fecal and heartworm tested, and current on heartworm and flea/tick preventative.
Please follow the instructions to apply for Callie found in the auto-reply you will receive or email adoptapupanimalrescue@gmail.com for an application.
Adopt A Pup is 100% foster-based which means we do not have a centralized facility where you can visit our dogs. The first step towards meeting the dog(s) you are interested is to complete an application. One of our volunteers will contact your references and set up a time between you and the foster to meet and interact with the dog(s) of interest.
