Cali's Story

Cali was returned due to no fault of her own. She is a super sweet girl that would do best in a home without other dogs but she would be fine with a submissive dog. She absolutely falls apart here mentally and struggles really bad with day-to-day normalcy. Away from the barking she is a big baby who just wants to crawl in your lap for attention. She wants to hop in your vehicle and go with you everywhere. She does fine in a kennel though if it's a quiet environment. Here she is very angry in her kennel with other animals in the building, so we recently moved her into the cat room where she doesn't have any other dogs to stir her up. She is house broke and knows basic obedience. She absolutely loves her toys but they have to be tough toys! She has previously had a FHO (hip surgery) but gets around without issues. She deserves a calm home with lots of love. The shelter environment isn't something she can live in long term so we're hopeful a miracle comes along for her!
