Cali's Story

Meet Cali
Cali is a 9-year-old pit bull who was surrendered when her owner no longer had the time or financial resources to care for her. Despite this major life change, Cali has remained a happy, loving girl who is ready to find a family to call her own.

According to her previous owner, Cali will bark and growl at other dogs and cats and should be carefully managed around them. They also shared that while Cali enjoys interacting with other dogs, she tends to play very rough, which can sometimes be misunderstood by other dogs. Because of this, her previous owner recommends keeping her separate from other pets and allowing her to be the center of attention in her new home.

Staff describe Cali as super affectionate and eager to spend time with people. She loves attention, enjoys being around her handlers, and allows all handling without issue. Don't let her age fool you-Cali still has plenty of energy and enthusiasm for life!

Cali would do best with an adopter who appreciates her playful spirit and can provide her with the love, exercise, and companionship she craves
