CALI's Story

12/11/25 13:43 Cali is a 3 year old FS pit bull. She has been at the shelter since 9/10. Cali is great for nonmedical handling but when any restraint is presented, she is very resistant, body thrashing, throwing her weight around. This has required sedation for a mild ear infection and also a dog fight wound. Both times Cali is difficult for sedation, with or without restraint she becomes hypersensitive. Medical cannot continue sedated medical exams and there is concern for escalating reactivity. Needs urgent rescue.
