( We have 5 others that will be posted, soon.) Be sure to fill out an application on our website - BRBCR.org BRBCR is in the process of bringing 2 litters puppies into rescue! Both litters were accidental (the mommas had spay appointments) and they have the same dad! The mommas are border collies and a DNA test was sent out for dad - Cattle dog/blue heeler mix. The puppies were born on 11/5/25 and will be ready to go to their forever homes starting 1/1/26 when they’re 8 weeks old. Miss June and Miss August are pictured here with mom and dad! Parents are super friendly with people and other dogs, dad is about 30lbs, and the adults are all wonderful companions! Remember, puppies are a lot of work but totally worth it! You will be asked about puppy proofing, house training, how long your puppy will be home alone, and socializing/training your puppy. BRBCR’s approval process includes phone interviews, reference checks, and a home visit prior to meeting a foster dog. Approved applicants must meet at the foster dog’s location. Every adoption begins with a 2-week trial period. The puppies’ adoption fee is $350. Since they are too young to be altered at this time, the Adoption Contract will include a Spay/Neuter Agreement which requires a deposit of $150 (to be refunded when veterinary proof of alteration has been provided). Blue Ridge Border Collie Rescue's Adoption Policy

BRBCR's adoption process requires that each of the following steps are successfully completed before meeting one of our foster dogs. The approval process typically takes 1 - 2 weeks. 1. Contact the foster parent of the dog that you are interested in to request an adoption application. 2. Fill out an adoption application on our website OR email a completed adoption application to brbcrdogs@gmail.com. 3. A BRBCR volunteer will conduct a phone interview with the applicant and the applicant's veterinarian and personal references. 4. A BRBCR volunteer will conduct a home visit with the applicant. Upon approval, the foster parent will set up a Meet and Greet for the applicant. If the Meet and Greet is successful, then the applicant will be able to take the BRBCR dog home for a 2-week trial period. If the trial period is successful, the adoption becomes official.
