Her preferred spot is on the humans lap cuddling up! <br/><br/>Story | Born to an oops litter in rural Texas. Fortunately, a local rescue group came to the rescue and reached out to MHLM to help find them homes! <br/><br/>Other Dogs | Great with other dogs! She's being fostered with two large dogs and is doing great. She's super playful with the younger great pyr mix and has been respectful and submissive to the grumpy older lab. <br/><br/>Cats | She is being fostered with a kitty and is learning cats don't like playing with puppies. ;)<br/><br/>Children | She is young enough to do well with kind, respectful kiddos. Wonderful with 11 yo foster brother! <br/><br/>Training | She is doing amazing with potty training and crate training in her foster home! She has rare accidents inside and recently starting going to the back door when she has to go potty. She takes naps in her crate throughout the day and sleeps in her crate in the living room all night without a peep. Currently she sleeps from 10pm-6am before she needs to be let out to potty. Her foster mom will let her out at 6am in the weekends and then put her back in her crate for another hour or so. She goes right back to sleep and lets her foster parents sleep in for a little extra on the weekends. :)<br/><br/>Leash | In progress. She's still a baby so she hasn't gone on many walks yet. <br/><br/>Activity Level | Moderate, like most lab puppies! She loves to play with other dogs and also is a big fan of all toys! Balls and toys that squeak are her favorite!<br/><br/>Health Notes | Healthy and happy :)<br/><br/>Thank you! <br/><br/>Adoption Donations | Our adoption donations are $575 for dogs 8 weeks to 1 year old, $525 for 1 - 6 years old, $475 for dogs 7 - 10 years old, and $350 for 11+ years of age. Purebred dogs regardless of age are $625. These minimum donations help to defer the costs of initial vet care, food, transportation to Colorado, and supplies while in foster care (that currently average over $750 per dog).<br/><br/>Meeting Dogs | Foster dogs may have meet and greets by appointment to approved applicants only. To become an approved applicant - please complete the application process. We will not respond to emails about animal availability or allow meet and greets without an approved adoption application on file. <br/><br/>Please Note | Available dogs are updated as soon as possible and we do our best to keep it up-to-date, but occasionally dogs shown may become unavailable without notice due to a pending adoption. We can not guarantee that a dog you wish to adopt is available by the time your adoption application is submitted, processed, and approved. Your application is good for one year from the date of applying for any dog as long as it is a good fit for your family and your lifestyle.<br/><br/> <br/><br/>We encourage you to put in an application even if you don't see your new family member currently, as once you are approved, we can place you on the waiting list for first priority on the selection of the dogs we do bring in. That means you can often meet a dog upon transport arrival and adopt before they even make it to this page!
