ĀI'll be the first to admit that truly it's an honor to be recognized for my "busy bee" skills! ĀI love going and doing and I dive into everything feet first knowing a fun adventure lies ahead. Ā A solid and most strapping fella dressed for successĀin my sleek black and white jacket, Āit's hard not to smile withĀme by YOUR side. ĀAt 56lbs, ĀI'm no tinyĀwee one and I have a bit of umph to my step. ĀNever meeting a stranger, ĀI love when volunteers reach forĀme to go for a walk or better yet some play time in a pen. ĀI'm a roll on my back kind of guy with legs extendingĀinto the air. ĀToys have not been of much interest to me, yet! Ā Graced with a bold, full personality, Āit's not uncommon for me to try and leap in your lap as you are seated in a chair. ĀI'm told there's a lot of me for that lap, snuggle time but what can I say? ĀI love being near my humans and giving and receiving plenty of TLC. Ā Folks are quickĀto comment on what a nice guy I am and how welcoming I am of all. ĀNow all I need is for YOU to please experience ME first hand and I think you'll agree, I'm a great dog! Facebook Update Dec 16: Our solid, strapping boy CAIN has been perfect in foster care but is now back on site and hoping YOU will come to meet him. ĀWithĀsuch amazing home credentials, Āhow could you resistĀour handsome hunk?? Ā Note: 3 yrs old; 56lbs Foster update: Despite his big, beefy looks, Cain is nothing but a big softie who loves to snuggle and give kisses. He has been very patient and gentle with kids and enjoys playing with his toys. Cain is very smart and knows how to sit, shake, and stay. He had zero potty accidents, nor did he chew anything. He is a great car rider and wants to be wherever his people are. He did show some light guarding behavior and will alert to squirrels or activity outside. We live on a popular walking trail and he gets stressed when he sees a crowd of people going by. ĀOverall, Cain is a precious, affectionate dog with a big heart, and we truly hope he finds a home where he feels safe, included, and loved.

Oconee Humane Society (OHS) is available for adoptions and the purchase of Spay/Neuter certificates Monday - Friday from 10:00am to 5:00pm and Saturday from 10:00am to 2:00pm. We request transactions be completed 30 minutes prior to closing. Cats are a available for $75. Dogs are available for $85.
