Caesar's Story

Caesar is an energetic, lovable, 5 month old pittie/lab mix, who was found by his foster parents after a human tied him to a fence in the neighborhood with a note.

Caesar loves to be with his people (any people, really!) and though he gets very excited to say hello, he will eventually settle down at your feet and chew on a toy while you relax. He will even lounge in your lap if you sit with him, and rest while you give him pets! He has been quite friendly with the 6 year old resident dog in his foster home, though he is still learning about social cues and when to give the resident dog some space. He is still just a puppy, after all.

Caesar loves belly rubs, giving lots of kisses, running to chase balls, and he loves chewing on his squeaky toys! He will find the best stick he can, and can even make you kindling for your next bonfire. He is truly a lovebug that just wants your love and attention, and this sweet boy deserves it!

Caesar is making progress but is still working on his potty training. He is doing pretty well on the leash, and is still working on his manners around people. He can’t help being all over you—- he just has so much love to share! He stays in a crate when no humans are home, and though he does not like to be left behind at first, the pet cams show that he settles into a nap very soon after his people leave. He just has to let you know about the great injustice that has been done to him before he can snooze.

Caesar’s ideal home would be with a family who will have the patience and love he deserves to continue with training, and a nice, fenced-in backyard to run around. We believe Caesar would do well with another young dog to play with. We do not recommend homes with small children as he is still working on his manners and could cause trouble simply due to his excitement, but older children should be just fine. There are cats in his foster home, but he has not yet been introduced to them.

Will your family be the one to love him forever?

Caesar's adoption fee is $600! This adoption fee includes: her alter, a microchip, her rabies, bordetella, and age appropriate DAPP vaccines, flea/heartworm preventative, and a deworming treatment while in foster care.

If you think she may be perfect for you, please apply using the link below!

https://www.cognitoforms.com/NorthPawRescue/NorthPawRescueAdoptionApplication

**Unfortunately, we cannot adopt out to Canada at this time.

**We require a 60 minute adoption radius. This dog is currently being fostered in Rochester, NY.
