Caesar's Story
Hi!

This is Cesar! He is the sweetest dude.

How he ended up in a Kennel for two months waiting to be claimed is beyond us. This boy was clearly owned, cared for and most likely trained.

We caught him before it was too late and whoooo he's a great boy.

This impressive guy is everything you want out of a Rottie. He's good with all other animals, if not overly interested and silly with them (cats) initially. He's met all sorts of people and is up for anything with his trusted people.

Like all Rotties, he does not appreciate being run up on and approached directly on the first hello. He prefers taking a walk, getting in a few sniffs, conversing over some treats then he's your best friend.

He does need to lose some weight before he can be fully active with no restrictions but he walks AMAZINGLY on the leash. He loves a trip to the corner store for some snacks, he waits outside very patiently. He's the favorite uncle to many of the younger dogs in our group and he's incredibly tolerant of just about everything.

If you have a Rottie sized hole in your life please reach out and apply or inquire about him!

--------------------- About our process and fees

Our application: https://laststoprescue.com/adoption-app/
If you're interested in donating, sponsoring or volunteering please visit us at www.LastStopRescue.com or follow us on Facebook at www.Facebook.com/Laststoprescue.il!

We treat these dogs as individuals with needs and to that end all of our dogs will have been in fosters no less than two weeks, they will have at least started training if not attend weekly classes and get daily training at home with the fosters!

Which means our longest residents will be the best trained, as long as they're with us we're going to keep socializing and working through any issues they may have.

When you adopt from us you will have a very clear picture of the dog you're meeting and on going support!

Our Fees are as follows:
Senior dogs over 7 are $450
Adult dogs are $650
Puppies under 1 year are $800
Specific breeds are $900

With each adoption you will be...
1. Given up to four hours of free training (from the foster and coordinator),
a. Some dogs require additional free training hours before they can go home.
2. Full medical report of all findings,
3. All of the supplies needed for a new dog as we attain these for the care of each dog,
4. A full run down on their behavioral status, where they started, where they are and how far is left to go. This will be detailed in a training plan from us about what they can or cannot handle well and it will be discussed as much as needed!
5. On going support post adoption as long as needed!
We fully vet all of our dogs which is reflected in our adoption fee. On average we will pay about 600 dollars in medical per dog. Every dog gets a full blood panel, fecal/urine check, heartworm & tick panel and treatment if required, spayed/neutered, all shots and boosters, along with anything specific to their needs.
